Bids Notice
COAL CITY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive irregularities therein and accept the bid or bids that are most advantageous to the Coal City Fire Protection District. The District will not discriminate against any bidder on any grounds with regard to the purchase. The decision of the Coal City Fire Protection District shall be final and conclusive.

In 2022 Station #1 answered 1426 calls and Station #2 answered 1235 calls for total of 2661 calls for service.
In 2021 Station #1 answered 1259 calls and Station #2 answered 1072 calls for a total of 2331 calls for service.
In 2020 Station #1 answered 1207 calls and Station #2 answered 880 calls for total of 2087 calls for service.
Demand for services continue to increase, as well as mutual aid requests from neighboring departments.

Station 2
Station #2 was built to serve the residents that live on the side of the tracks that divide the district. Up to 100 trains go thru town daily and are very lengthy that slowed or stopped emergency vehicles on their way to answer calls in need.
