Propane Burn at Collins Training Tower
The Coal City Fire Protection District would like to invite you and your family to attend the Open House at the Fire Station on October 11, 2008. The event will run between the hours of 11am - 3pm. The fire station is located at 35 S. Dewitt Place.
This will be a great time for you to come and meet some of your local firefighters and EMTs. We will have door prizes and other giveways. We will also be providing demonstrations of a few our techniques ranging from firefighting to various rescue techniques. We will also provide an opportunity for you to handle some of the equipment used in these demonstrations.
We will also have the designs for our new Fire Station 2 on display for viewing. This station will be located at the on Berta Rd. south of Spring Rd. Construction of this station is due to begin in the year 2009.
